Budapest Scientologists Celebrate 10 Years on Váci Road

Around 500 members of Hungary’s Scientology community came together to mark the tenth anniversary of the Budapest Ideal Organization on Váci Road.

Inaugurated ten years ago, the six-storey religious centre has become a centre for worship, education and community activities. The anniversary brought together a religious service, live music, a photographic and video retrospective and a review of past achievements and future activities.

Over its first ten years, the Budapest church has also hosted community programmes ranging from drug prevention and human-rights education to humanitarian and interfaith initiatives. These activities are connected with social betterment programmes inspired by Scientology eu newsletter founder L. Ron Hubbard.
